Lifestyle Coordinator | FT Leadership Role | Gold Coast

Lead with heart, make a difference, build community connections

HillView Care is a boutique residential aged care provider with homes in Ashmore and Merrimac, offering low, high, and dementia-specific care. As we continue to grow and reimagine aged care on the Gold Coast, we’re seeking a dynamic and compassionate Lifestyle Coordinator (full-time) to lead our Leisure and Lifestyle team across both sites.

Reporting to the Marketing and Lifestyle Manager, you’ll bring leadership, creativity, and collaboration to the role — designing and delivering engaging programs that enrich resident wellbeing and strengthen community and family connections. You’ll oversee the planning and coordination of activities at both locations, working closely with your team to create meaningful experiences for our residents.

About the Role:

As our Lifestyle Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of resident engagement—designing and delivering a vibrant program that nurtures wellbeing, creativity, and connection. You’ll lead an enthusiastic team, collaborate closely with our marketing team to share our story, and foster strong ties with families, volunteers, and the wider community through engaging events and a thriving volunteer program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire the lifestyle team to deliver engaging and meaningful activities
  • Develop & coordinate resident-focused wellness and lifestyle programs
  • Implement resident care plans
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team to promote events, share resident stories, and strengthen community visibility
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and local community groups
  • Develop and manage a vibrant volunteer program to enhance resident engagement
  • Ensure programs support physical, emotional, and social wellbeing for all residents
  • Coordinate special events, cultural celebrations, and outings

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience in a Lifestyle Coordinator role
  • An understanding of the Australian Quality Standards in Aged Care
  • A minimum Cert IV in Leisure & Health – CHC43415 (a Diploma in Leisure & Health -CHC53415 would be highly regarded)
  • A Cert III Individual Support will be favourably considered
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Experience in events and/or community engagement highly regarded
  • Collaborative mindset and the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Creative, organised, and passionate about enhancing quality of life for older people
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with a proven ability to quickly learn new programs
  • Experience managing volunteers is preferred
  • A current First Aid & CPR certificate

What We’re Looking For

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care (or higher)
  • Current Federal Police Check
  • Availability to work across a 24/7 roster (AM, PM, and Nights)
  • Previous AIN experience is a plus but not required
  • Effective communication skills and an enthusiastic team player
  • A genuine desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others

As a Laundry & Cleaning Assistant, you’ll be the magic behind keeping our homes sparkling and our residents comfortable. Every task you do will directly contribute to creating a safe, welcoming environment for our residents to thrive.

You’ll work with a fantastic team, ensuring that our high standards for cleanliness are always met, and most importantly, you’ll be making an impact on the daily lives of our wonderful residents.

What You’ll Do:

  • Clean and tidy resident rooms, common areas, and more

  • Wash, dry, and fold linen and personal items with care

  • Ensure all cleaning and laundry meets HillView’s high standards

  • Play a key part in creating a warm and welcoming space for our residents to call home

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in a similar role (but we’re happy to train the right person!)

  • Flexibility to work across both Ashmore and Merrimac locations

  • Strong communication skills—be able to chat and listen with ease

  • Amazing organisational and time management skills

  • A team player who’s adaptable to change

  • Australian Residency or Citizenship (required)

  • Willingness to obtain a police clearance certificate
