About the Role

As an Enrolled Nurse at HillView Care, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality clinical care while supporting and guiding our care staff. You’ll work closely with Registered Nurses and the wider care team to ensure residents receive safe, respectful, and individualised care at all times.

This is a hands-on role where your clinical skills, compassion, and professionalism will directly contribute to residents’ comfort, dignity, and wellbeing.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering safe and effective nursing care in accordance with care plans and clinical standards

  • Assisting with medication administration and clinical documentation under RN direction

  • Monitoring and reporting changes in residents’ condition

  • Supporting and supervising care staff to ensure best practice care delivery

  • Communicating effectively with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team

  • Promoting dignity, respect, and quality of life for all residents


What We’re Looking For

  • Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse

  • Previous experience in Aged Care (highly regarded)

  • Experience working with residents living with dementia

  • Availability to work AM, PM, and/or Night shifts

  • Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to change

  • A genuine passion for providing high-quality, resident-centred care

  • Permanent Australian Residency or Citizenship

  • Willingness to obtain a National Police Clearance

Catering Attendant (Merrimac & Ashmore) I Casual | Part-Time Opportunties

About the Role

As a Catering Attendant, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive dining experience for our residents while supporting our kitchen team to deliver nutritious, high-quality meals. The role combines food preparation, dining service, food safety and resident interaction to ensure every resident enjoys a safe, welcoming and person-centred mealtime experience.

Your duties will include:

  • Assisting with food preparation and meal plating
  • Serving meals and beverages to residents
  • Supporting resident choice by taking meal orders and accommodating dietary requirements
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic kitchen and dining environment
  • Completing food safety and temperature monitoring
  • Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
  • Monitoring and reporting resident food intake where required
  • Using catering software and following menu systems
  • Assisting with special events, functions and celebrations
  • Working collaboratively with chefs, catering staff and the clinical team to deliver exceptional service.

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • A caring, positive and team-focused attitude
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Reliable and flexible availability

Desirable

  • Previous experience in aged care, hospitality or commercial catering
  • Food Safety or Food Handler Certificate
  • Certificate II in Hospitality or Health Services
  • Experience working with modified diets or texture-modified meals

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and caring Kitchen Hand to join our Catering Team for afternoon shifts at our Ashmore facility.

In this role, you’ll support our Catering Manager and Chef to deliver safe, nutritious, and well-presented meals that meet residents’ dietary needs and preferences. Your work will directly support residents’ wellbeing, comfort, and dignity every day.


What You’ll Do

• Assist with food preparation, portioning, and plating for resident meals
• Maintain a high standard of kitchen cleanliness, sanitising, and dishwashing
• Follow safe food handling practices in line with Food Safety Standards and HACCP principles
• Support catering requirements for resident functions and special events
• Collaborate with care and nursing staff to support individual dietary needs
• Follow Infection Prevention and Control procedures at all times
• Comply with organisational policies, WHS requirements, and relevant legislation


About You

You’re a dependable team player who takes pride in a clean, safe, and well-run kitchen environment — and understands the importance of food and routine in aged care.

To be successful, you’ll have:
• Previous experience in a kitchen, catering, or hospitality environment (aged care highly regarded)
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Awareness of infection prevention and safe work practices
• A positive attitude, strong communication, and a cooperative team approach
• Reliability, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to resident care
• Ability to follow direction and work safely under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Qld)


Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous kitchen or catering experience (required)
• Understanding of food safety obligations under the Food Act 2006 (Qld)
• Current National Police Check (mandatory for aged care under the Aged Care Act 1997)
• Certificate III in Hospitality or Aged Care (desirable)
• Current First Aid/CPR (desirable)

Shift times: 1500–1900 – 5 days a week available

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and friendly Café All-Rounder / Catering Attendant to join our catering team.

You’ll help create a welcoming café experience for residents, families, and visitors, offering great coffee, fresh food, and genuine connection.

This role also supports internal catering services, including resident functions and special events, contributing to HillView Care’s commitment to hospitality excellence and resident wellbeing.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and serve espresso-based coffees, teas, and other beverages to a high standard.
  • Assist with light food preparation, plating, and service.
  • Deliver friendly, professional customer service to residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Maintain café and kitchen hygiene in accordance with Food Safety Standards (HACCP) and Infection Prevention and Control requirements.
  • Operate POS systems and handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Support catering for internal and community events in line with HillView Care’s policies.
  • Follow WHS procedures to ensure a safe and clean working environment at all times.

 

 

 

 

About You

You’re a people-focused team player who thrives in a welcoming, service-driven environment and understands the importance of hospitality in aged care.

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Previous café, catering, or hospitality experience (aged care or healthcare desirable).
  • Barista skills or formal espresso training (preferred).
  • Food Handling Certificate (mandatory or willingness to obtain before commencement).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.
  • A compassionate attitude and commitment to resident dignity and safety.
  • Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends as rostered.
  • Current National Police Check (issued within the past 12 months, Aged Care compliant).
  • Evidence of Influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations, as required under current Health Directives.
