Our Ashmore residents got hands-on in the kitchen, making delicious Irish Fifteens—a classic Northern Irish treat made with 15 marshmallows, 15 digestive biscuits, and 15 glacé cherries, all mixed with condensed milk and rolled in coconut! Meanwhile, over at Merrimac, residents embraced their creative side with an Irish-themed Paint & Sip, enjoying good company, great artwork, and a touch of green. 🎨🥂

A wonderful day filled with laughter, tradition, and a little Irish charm! 💚🇮🇪

🐍🦎 Merrimac Residents’ Reptile Adventure! 🐊🐢

Our Merrimac residents had an unforgettable experience at our belated World Wildlife Day reptile show! They got up close with an incredible lineup of creatures, from frogs and turtles to lizards, snakes, and even a crocodile! 🐸🐢

A truly special moment was witnessing Rick, a former long-term manager at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, light up as he shared his passion for reptiles once again. Having spent decades working with wildlife—including wrangling crocodiles!—What a legend!

A huge thank you to Harrison's Gold Coast and Brisbane Snake Catcher for bringing this amazing experience to our residents. The smiles, curiosity, and laughter said it all—what a fantastic day of fun and learning! 🦎💚

Ashmore World Wildlife Day Reptile Show! 🦎🐍🐊

Our residents had an incredible time getting up close with some amazing reptiles during our belated World Wildlife Day celebration! They had the chance to see and even touch a frog, turtle, lizards, snakes, and a crocodile! 🐸🐢

A special shoutout to Vanessa, our exercise therapist, and her daughter Bella, who bravely held a snake and a lizard! 🐍🦎 Looks like we might have a future wildlife expert in the making!

The smiles and curiosity were priceless as everyone learned more about these fascinating creatures. Thank you as always to Harrison's Gold Coast and Brisbane Snake Catcher for bringing the wildlife experience to us!
